Dearest Mary,
Just a line to let you know where I am, and I’m sorry I couldn’t write sooner. This man’s Army keeps you pretty busy. I really want to thank you for that letter you wrote to me Mary it was really swell of you, and I hope you write a lot more. It took us five days to get back here it really was a swell trip, although there’s some states I wouldn’t give two cents for, give me good old California. Well Mary I hope this letter finds you in the best of health, will try and write as soon as I find time, and you do the same. O.K.?
Always,
Bob
